Low Voltage Fixed Switchgear

Low-voltage fixed switchgear is a type of equipment used in low-voltage power distribution systems for fixed wiring applications. It is primarily used for power supply, lighting, and distribution control in power conversion systems.
GGD low-voltage fixed switchgear is one of the common models, suitable for AC systems with a frequency of 50Hz, a rated operating voltage of 380V, and a rated current up to 3150A.
These switchgear cabinets are widely used in power plants, petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, textile, and high-rise building industries for power transmission, distribution, and conversion. They comply with the GB7251.1-2013 standard for Low-Voltage Complete Switchgear and are included in the CCC (3C) mandatory certification catalog.

1. Structural Features
The cabinet adopts a standard modular structure. The frame is assembled using locally welded 8MF cold-formed steel sections. The profiles have mounting holes in 20mm and 100mm modules, allowing flexible and convenient assembly.
To enable heat dissipation, ventilation holes are placed at the top and bottom of the cabinet for natural airflow. The cabinet door is connected to the frame with pivot-type removable hinges, making it easy to install and remove. A ridge-shaped rubber sealing strip is installed at the door's folded edge to prevent direct contact between the door and cabinet, thereby enhancing protection.

2. Electrical Performance
Electrical components and measuring instruments are fixedly mounted on the internal brackets and panels of the switchgear cabinet. Their layout is relatively flexible.
The power supply side requires the use of an isolation switch, which must be disconnected and accessed by opening the cabinet door for maintenance. However, this design offers limited safety protection, fewer distribution circuits, and a lower maximum rated current for the main busbar.

3. Application Scenarios
Low-voltage fixed switchgear is widely used in power plants, substations, and mining enterprises. It serves in AC power systems with a rated frequency of 50Hz and a working voltage of 400V for electric power, lighting, power conversion, distribution, and control.
Additionally, it is suitable for use in industrial automation control, power system distribution, machinery processing, building electrical systems, smart buildings, transportation infrastructure, and electric vehicle charging stations.
