Three-Phase Step-Up Transformer

The S22 6300 kVA oil-immersed transformer from Kechangelec is made for large-scale power distribution, including industrial plants, utility headers, and regional substations. It is built to run continuously and stay reliable under heavy load.

Inside the transformer, the core is made of grain-oriented silicon steel. This keeps energy loss down, whether the unit is idle or under heavy load. Copper wires are wrapped around the core. They stay in place and carry electricity even when the current spikes. Mineral oil fills the tank. It acts as insulation and moves heat away from the parts that get hot. Over long hours, it helps the transformer avoid overheating.

The tank itself is made from thick steel and coated to prevent rust. The welds hold everything together firmly, and the outside finish protects the unit from sun, rain, or dust. Cooling happens on its own. Oil moves inside, air passes over the radiators, and no pumps or fans are needed. This simple setup makes upkeep easier and keeps running costs lower.

Before shipment, each transformer is checked carefully. Technicians verify temperature rise, dielectric performance, tightness of seals, and impedance. Only after passing these steps does the unit leave the factory, ready for reliable operation in the field.
