Three-Phase Distribution Transformer with Core Lamination

Kechangelec's S22 4000 kVA oil-immersed transformer is a medium-voltage unit built to handle demanding distribution work. It is made for round-the-clock service, keeping the output stable while managing heat effectively. You will often see it installed in utility substations, large factories, or major infrastructure sites where dependable power is essential.

At its core is grain-oriented silicon steel, carefully stacked to cut down both idle and load losses. The windings are copper, wound tight to hold voltage stability and add mechanical strength. Insulation and heat transfer are managed by high-grade mineral oil. The tank itself is made from thick steel plates, finished with an anti-corrosion layer so the unit can withstand rough weather and site conditions.

Cooling on this model is done through a natural oil and air flow system. Inside the tank, the heated oil slowly moves upward while cooler oil sinks down, and the outside fins release that heat into the air. Since the circulation happens on its own, there are no pumps or fans to look after, which makes the unit easier to maintain. Before the transformer is sent out, the staff go over it carefully-checking how it runs electrically, looking at the condition of the oil, and making sure the seals are tight-so that it leaves the factory in full working order.
